Marcelo Fernández Iraola, managing partner of Fernandez Attorney at Law. He has over 30 years of professional experience in administrative law, arbitration, public administration, national security, computer law, mining law, short and long-term social security, hydrocarbon law, as well as in academic practice in the chair of History. Politics of Latin America and Computer Law.

Experience

The most significant professional performance, of Marcelo Fernandez Iraola, is located in the Legal Management of different and important government institutions, such as the National Road Service upon entering the restructuring led by the World Bank, the Oruro Development Corporation, the Universidad Mayor of San Andrés, the National Health Fund, the National Senate, also directing the Judicial Reform Program, and the General Legal Directorate of the Ministry of Mining.

He held the university chair, with the degree of Emeritus Professor of the UMSA, reaching the level of Dean of the Faculty of Law and Director of the Careers of Law and Political Sciences, in parallel with the exercise of the chairs of Introduction to Law and Constitutional Law in the Police Academy and the Military College of the Army.

He was a National Deputy, exercising the Presidency of the Education Commission of the Chamber of Deputies. I also think that the Children's Commission.

Marcelo Fernández Iraola, has extensive experience in mining law, telecommunications law, computer law, administrative law and national security of the states. He was a member of the Board of Directors of VISION MUNDIAL-Bolivia, the Norwegian-Bolivian Alliance, the University Council, the Facultative Council, the Career Council at UMSA, and a member of the Social Security Board of the Caja de Caminos.

Currently, Marcelo Fernández is an arbitrator at the Conciliation and Arbitration Center of the National Chamber of Commerce and emeritus professor of computer law at the Law School of the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, for more than 30 years.

Education

Lawyer graduated from the Technical University of Oruro, Master in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University, Washington DC; Postgraduate degree from the prestigious MIT, in Special Programs of Urban and Regional Studies (SPURS), Massachusetts, USA.

Likewise, he has courses in state security from the Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies - Washington DC, and a specialty in Contemporary Criminal Law from the University of Salamanca, and a Leadership course at Haggai Institute, Maui-Hawuai, USA.

Academia Marcelo, in addition to his appointment as emeritus professor in computer law, is and has been professor in constitutional law, mining and hydrocarbon law, introduction to law, socio-economic formations and Political History of Latin America.
